Ylele 05:09
My dear little bird How you fly so free Why does man always want to catch you? “If you catch me then you can hold me But the song I sing will always be free!”

Sami sings in Japanese: It’s time to dance; it's time to sing it's a new moon dance Holding your hand in mine gently Let’s sway a new moon dance The moon on such a beautiful night Makes me want to dance with you Under the pale moon light We can nestle tenderly And let's sway a new moon dance It is our new moon dance.... Feli sings in African (Gouro) Where has he been taken? The child I have been searching for so long Where has he been taken? Under the new moon, when you were pregnant Bafou’s child who went to the farm Where is his stomach? They say Bafou went to the river and yet she is not back Warms are in the way: Bogs are in the way… Where is the mother’s child? The child I have been searching for so long! Will my child not return for the new moon dance?

My friend, what are you talking about? You refused your marriage & prefer to play: It’s all on you Mother my child is falling! My friend, what are you talking about? You refused your marriage & prefer to play: It’s all on you Oh yes Father my child is falling! Mother my child is falling!

A-Free-ka 03:46
Who is calling me? Who is calling me? Who is calling me? I am calling you! I am calling you Africa Yes: I am calling you Africa When a banana is ripe: that means it is right! You are being called but you don’t listen! You are being called but you don’t listen: then you ask, “Who called me? “Who is calling me? Who is calling me? Who is calling me? The cry of the jungle I am calling you Africa The cry of the jungle All the tears have fallen It’s the cry of the jungle, the cry of the jungle

about

Upbeat electronica-meets-world-fusion.

In collaboration with Egyptian percussionist Reda Darwish and guitarist Freddie Clark, producer Greg Gordon has created a lush bed of sonic textures and middle eastern instrumentation laced with hard driving dance beats. Adding vocal melodies and lyrics from their native languages are The Goddesses: Irina, Sami, Feli, & Elana. Lacing it all together is Goddess Gaia’s secret sauce, the mind expanding sound and pulsating rhythm of The Psychedelic Jew’s Harp created and performed by Jacob Max Nasim.

At its heart Goddess Gaia is a multi-instrumental electro-acoustic world ensemble contrasting many beautiful acoustic instruments and vocal arrangements with a gritty underlying electronic underbelly,
